Our Suites and rooms are located in a private building dating back to the mid 1800s, the quality and eloquent features are confirmed by the location and the year of construction. As such Casa Grifone
transmits a cozy and hospitable atmosphere in the first district of Rome “Rione Monti” The EternalCity. We are located 200 steps from the Coliseum, Roman Forum, Arch of Constantine, Via Sacra,
Trajan’s Market. Because of this location you will breath the “Romanità” in a magical building where every detail, from wood beam ceilings, marble stairs and terra cotta floors have been restored.
Our friendly and helpful staff is there to assist in any way and give you a feeling of a real Italian home which is ours to share with you. Our guests will be welcomed in a portion of the city where you can feel Antique Rome, Medieval Rome, Renaissances Rome all leading up to Modern Rome.
Bernini Suite
This elegant apartment is located on the 2nd floor of our private home 200 steps from Coliseum. The apartment is 850 square feet. The bedroom has a queen size bed, and in the living room you will find a double couch bed ( when requested ).
The bathroom is equipped with a shower and all necessities for your stay. In the kitchenette you will find a sink, 2 burners, pots and pans, and utensils, a small oven and fridge. The kitchenette table
sits four. Coffee and tea are always available.
The apartment includes AC, Wi-Fi and independent heating. Seeing the date of the building it is a walk up .

The highlight is the private terrace where you may enjoy your breakfast or relax in the evening with a glass of wine.
There is a fully equipped kitchenette with sink, 2 burners, little oven and fridge so you may enjoy your tea or coffee in the morning .
Most of all you are in the historic center, 200 steps from the Coliseum, Roman Forum, Arch of Constantine and so much more .You are in the heart of the most ancient and incredible neighborhood of Rome yet well guarded from the noise thanks to its exclusive location, this private building from the 1800’s is located at the end of a little street which assures quiet nights and relaxation.

This cozy double room includes ensuite bathroom with all you need for your stay. Room San Pietro is decorated in pure classic Italian style with family pieces of furniture and boasts an original wood
ceiling from the 1800’s. AC, Wi-Fi and independent heating are provided.
It is located in a 1000 square foot apartment on the first floor of a private building. The large kitchen and living room are shared which a second bedroom. Dining areas are separate and the kitchen is equipped with all the necessities of a real kitchen.

Bacco Room is located in a 1000 square foot apartment on the first floor of our private building that is 200 steps from the Coliseum. In the very HEART of Rome but being on a small street that ends with Casa Grifone it assures quiet nights and relaxation.
The large kitchen and living room are shared which a second bedroom. Dining areas are separate and the kitchen is equipped with all the necessities for a real kitchen. Coffee and tea are always available.

Suite Michelangelo Piazza di Spagna
This new edition to Casa Grifone is located 200 steps from Piazza di Spagna “Spanish Steps “and Piazza del Popolo (entrance of Rome during the Middle Ages) and few minutes from Piazza Navona (place of Roman water games and celebrations) in the most elegant and exclusive area of the Rome. Michelangelo Suite is on the second floor of a building from the 1800’s (despite the date of building there is a lift that arrives at the half landing which mean just a small ramp up or down to the flat).
The apartment is 430 square feet, the room has a French bed with sitting area, the separate kitchenette includes 2 burners, sink, utensils, small oven and fridge. Since we have redone the apartment recently and bathrooms are small in Italy we decided to do an unusually large one with 2 sinks and big walk in shower.
Even though we have recently renovated this flat it has not lost its charm since we have restored original wood ceiling. AC, good speed WI-FI and independent heating. Last but not least a balcony overlooking a typical courtyard in the historic center of Rome.
